Fantastic Beasts:The Crimes Of Grindelwald Review

Image
Having loved the last film, and now knowing that we would see more of the big stars like Johnny Depp and Jude Law, I was very much looking forward to seeing this Movie, little did I know that i'd be watching, not only the best of the two 'Fantastic Beasts' movies, but the best Wizarding World movie full stop! The best actors in this film, by far, are the main 3. That being Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law and Johnny Depp. Redmayne delivers the same lovable geek character that he did in the first movie, and it is just as good as it was then. Jude Law does a fantastic job as Hogwarts finest, Albus Dumbledore, and gives a convincing performance that this is the man we see mentor the boy who lived. The film starts out with the president of the MACUSA, handing Grindelwald over to the British ministry of magic after spending 6 months in jail. as it turns out, Grindelwald had taken polyjuice potion and switched with one of the guards, and managed to escape custody with a wagon and some ...

Marvel TV Shows Confirmed For Disney+

Image
Scarlet Witch is one of the confirmed TV shows for Disney+. Although it has not been confirmed, Elizabeth Olsen is expected to reprise her role as Wanda Maximoff. There is currently next to no information about the series so we do not know whether or not the series will be a prequel. If the series IS a prequel, it is likely we will also see an appearance from Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver. This would be a welcome addition as many fans were saddened that we wouldn't see more of him after his death in Avengers Age Of Ultron. If the series turns out to be set in the present, it will probably revolve around Wanda’s relationship with Vision, and we will likely see Paul Bettany reprise this role. Although this doesn’t sound AS good as the idea of seeing Quicksilver comeback into the MCU, it would be cool to see a show all about Wanda and Vision on the run after the events of Civil War, and maybe seeing them deal with some crime bosses as they go on their travels. After d...

Spider-Man PS4 Game Review

Image
Spider-Man PS4 is the perfect example that it is possible for a studio to make a good superhero game when time and effort is put into it. This game is one of the most entertaining games I have played in years, from the story to the little easter eggs, everything is created almost to perfection. The graphics in this game are incredible, from the detail on the buildings to the tiny ridges between different layers on the suits, everything looks visually stunning. Citizens are animated extremely well and can even be seen playing full sport matches at various points around the city. The lighting and reflections are incredible, especially at night, the city glows and key buildings like Avengers Tower or the Sanctum Sanctorum really stand out. Most buildings have 3D rooms rendered when you look through windows and actually vary somewhat from building to building. When looking around at the city from the tallest building you can really see the detail of each building and it is fantastic. One...

Venom Movie Review

Image
With Sony's track record of bottling it whenever it comes to making marvel films, you'd expect Venom to be no different. However, much like DC made a comeback with Wonder Woman, it appears that Sony have done the same. When a spacecraft carrying symbiotes from an asteroid back to earth for experimentation crashes, The Life Foundation owner Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed), attempts to learn more about the creatures in order to cure human ailments. Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is working as a reporter in San Francisco when a story on the life foundation owner, Carlton Drake, goes south and he loses everything. His fiance, his house and career are all lost thanks to Drakes influence. In a last ditch effort to stop Drake, one of his scientists approaches Eddie in an attempt to persuade him to expose Drake once and for all. When Eddie is snooping around the lab, the Venom symbiote attaches to Eddie and bonds to him. After fighting relentless waves of Life Foundation soldiers, Eddie and Venom...

Daredevil Season 3 Review

Image
The Daredevil crew has done it again! With another fantastic season  featuring our favorite blind ninja. When Matt finds himself broken and his faith shaken after the events of The Defenders, he tries to reinvent himself into a new hero that is capable of taking criminals off the street for good, but when the time comes, is he really capable of ending a life? The season kicks off with Matt falling out of a drain after the building collapsed on him in The Defenders, with the help of Sister Maggie, he is able to build himself back to full strength and take on the petty criminals of Hell’s Kitchen once again. When Wilson Fisk takes a deal with the FBI to be placed under house incarceration, Matt becomes hellbent on ending the Kingpin once and for all. Fisk  is able to manipulate an agent known as Ben Poindexter into helping him frame Matt for a string of mass murders by threatening the safety of a woman that Ben was in love with. Coupled with his mental instability, when Ben fi...

Avengers 4 Set Pictures

Image
Thor in his outfit from the first Avengers movie and with his long hair. this could be proof of time travel in the movie or maybe an alternate dimension? Captain America in his classic Avengers costume is more evidence of some form of time travel in the movie.  Tony Stark in a S.H.E.I.L.D outfit could mean that he is undercover in this film. although due to his fame its unlikely that this is the case.  Ant Man and Captain America with some kind of device on their wrists, perhaps built by Hank Pym before his demise at the end of Ant Man and the Wasp. Jeremy Renner in a costume resembling that of Ronin, lets hope we'll see more of him in Avengers 4, possibly training Katherine Langford's character to be the new Hawkeye. Another shot of Tony Stark in S.H.I.E.L.D uniform. Possibly following Thor and Loki, who are seen in the next shot walking down the same corridor with Loki in shackles. Loki and Thor walking down a corridor, Loki is in shackles w...

Iron Fist Season 2 Review

Image
Off the back of the disappointing first season of Marvel's Iron Fist and with a new showrunner (Raven Metzner). Fans were sceptical as to whether this season would live up to the high expectations set by Jessica Jones and Daredevil. However, in a surprising turn of events, season 2 delivers an overall entertaining experience and actually manages to develop Danny as a character, making him much more likeable than in season 1 and The Defenders. The show picks up a couple of months after the events of The Defenders where we learn that Matt Murdock's last words to Danny we're asking him to protect his city, and we see Danny out in the streets with the iconic yellow bandanna fulfilling his wish. When Danny gets caught in a war with rival gangs in Chinatown, he is confronted by an angry Davos who is infuriated by the loss of Kun'Lun and the way in which Danny chooses to use the iron fist while chaos descends on Chinatown. Davos employs Joy to help take down Danny and Ward...
