Marvel TV Shows Confirmed For Disney+

Scarlet Witch is one of the confirmed TV shows for Disney+. Although it has not been confirmed, Elizabeth Olsen is expected to reprise her role as Wanda Maximoff. There is currently next to no information about the series so we do not know whether or not the series will be a prequel. If the series IS a prequel, it is likely we will also see an appearance from Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver. This would be a welcome addition as many fans were saddened that we wouldn't see more of him after his death in Avengers Age Of Ultron.

If the series turns out to be set in the present, it will probably revolve around Wanda’s relationship with Vision, and we will likely see Paul Bettany reprise this role. Although this doesn’t sound AS good as the idea of seeing Quicksilver comeback into the MCU, it would be cool to see a show all about Wanda and Vision on the run after the events of Civil War, and maybe seeing them deal with some crime bosses as they go on their travels.

After dropping hints that Avengers 4 would not be his last movie playing the god of mischief Loki, Tom Hiddleston has all but confirmed that he will reprise his role in the upcoming Loki TV series. The show is likely to be a prequel all about Loki’s mischievous acts from when he was young, but there are other theories around the internet, one states that the show will be set between the first Thor movie and The Avengers, this is the time period in which he was working with Thanos to take over Earth. Another theory is that Loki actually survived the encounter with Thanos in Infinity War, and he will be traveling the universe alone and getting up to some mischief, but all this is just speculation.

Another series that is yet to be confirmed, although a writer has supposedly already been hired, is Falcon and Bucky. This will probably be set after Avengers 4, when the ending of Infinity War is reversed, and is likely to incorporate elements from the 'Fallen Son' comic book story line, which explores the effects of Captain America's death on his friends, family and the rest of the world.

Another show, yet to be announced is Hawkeye. This is also likely to take place after Avengers 4 and will probably consist of Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) training Kate Bishop, who is likely to be played by '13 Reasons Why's' Katherine Langford although this is also unconfirmed. The show is unlikely to feature Black Widow, as she has a solo movie planned for 2020.
